5% niacinamide is really that sweet spot for it to be effective, but with no irritation, and this product is formulated just like that. The ampoule has a nice, runny texture that absorbs quickly. There is no stickiness, but it does feel just very slightly tacky after absorption. I found that adding a facial moisturizer on top of helps with this, which would be a natural next skincare step anyways. Niacinamide in this concentration is great for overall skin brightening and improving skin barrier. The ampoule also helps with dryness, and addresses loss of firmness and elasticity. These is a noticeable scent that reminds me of pines.

I’ve been using the I’VEL Niacinamide 5% Brightening Ampoule lately, and it’s a solid choice for targeted skin concerns. This ampoule is specifically formulated to tackle melasma, dark spots, and overall dullness. It also works on improving elasticity and boosting your skin's radiance for that healthy glow. The texture is lightweight and absorbs almost instantly! It leaves a nice matte finish, making it perfect for layering. If you find higher concentrations of niacinamide (like 10% or 20%) too harsh or irritating, this 5% formula is perfect! It does have a very noticeable herbal scent from the botanical ingredients.
A good option if you want to fade spots and brighten up without the irritation of stronger serums.

I’ve been using the EX Percent 5% Niacinamide Glow Boosting Serum daily, and it’s honestly such an easy add to my routine.
What is best is that the texture is lightweight, absorbs fast, and doesn’t feel sticky at all. With regular use, my skin looks brighter and more even, and I’ve noticed my pores look a bit more refined. Although in the beginning I would like to mention, as my skin is a bit too sensitive i experienced a bit of irritation but i took my time, i used it for a few hours a day not leaving it overnight and it got better, even the results were good then
